How to play Mini Bridge

  1. Tap Play now. Mini Bridge opens right here in your web browser.
  2. Choose a level: Easy, Medium or Harder.
  3. You and your partner Kate play against Tom and Lynn. Each of you gets 13 cards.
  4. Count your points: Ace 4, King 3, Queen 2, Jack 1. The side with more points plays the hand.
  5. When it is your side, Kate's cards go face up and you play both hands.
  6. Choose trumps or no trumps, then aim for a part score of 7 tricks or a game, which needs more tricks and scores far more.
  7. Follow the suit that was led if you can. The highest card of that suit wins the trick, unless a trump is played.
  8. Four deals make a game. The side with more points at the end wins.
  9. Take your time. There is no clock and no rush.
  10. When you finish, try the same level again or move up a level.

Why people enjoy it

Mini Bridge gives you the best part of bridge, the play of the cards, without the bidding to learn first. Counting points, picking trumps and planning how to take your tricks keeps every deal interesting, and many people find it a friendly first step toward full bridge.
